Chalk Gymnastics Wear is an established family business owned and managed by Paul and Margaret who have both been in the industry for over 20 years.
Margaret has been associated with dance and costumes for dance schools, one of which is T Jam School of Dance (formally Thelma Williams) for over 53 years, where she began at the age of two.
Paul has been associated with gymnastics with his son AJ, as a general gymnastics coach and a member of the General gymnastics committee, and for the past 8 years as the Mens Tech Director.
The gymnastics side of the business started when their son Aaron (AJ) began gymnastics at the local club (PIT) when he was 6 years old.
By 2001 AJ joined the Victorian High Performance Centre in Prahran where he began competing on both the National and International Level. AJ has been a proud member of the Australian Olympic and National Squads since 2005. He was a member of the 2007 World squad and 2010 World Team member in Rotterdam. AJ is the only Victorian male gymnast ever to hold a VIS Scholarship. He holds an unprecedented undefeated 6 Senior AA Victoria Championship Titles, (2004, 05, 06, 07, 09, 10). He is also a Silver Advance Judge, and a coach.
